Zurich’s Stadtkäserei is not only home to an exceptional production site – located directly at platform 18 in the main station – the team is also never afraid to experiment and try new ideas. Here, traditional cheesemaking craftsmanship meets urban creativity.
Whether it’s a dinner at the long communal table, a cocktail workshop, or a bachelor/bachelorette party – we are the event location right next to Zurich Main Station. Our spaces are ideal for private celebrations, corporate events, and bespoke formats. In addition to our curated workshops, we are always open to your own ideas. Get in touch with us.
From Tuesday to Friday, we also serve a regional and seasonal lunch. In our adjoining bistro and bar, open until 7 pm, you can enjoy coffee and cake as well as our cheese specialties on-site – or purchase selected products to take away.
STADTKÄSEREI DAIRY
All cheese – or what? We produce hard cheese, soft cheese, fresh cheese and other dairy products using organic milk from three farms in and around Zurich: Waidhof in Seebach, Leimbihof in Leimbach, and Burgers Hof in Rudolfstetten-Friedlisberg.
It goes without saying that our in-house dairy products feature on our lunch menu. But that’s not all – we also use the “by-product” whey to make ricotta, syrups, salad dressings and much more…
EVENTS AND WORKSHOPS
Whether business or pleasure, an event or social programme, food or drink – we have plenty of room for up to 200 people. Our cheese and cooking workshops, as well as the bar workshop, were created by professionals who know their craft. But you’re also welcome to come and just enjoy a cosy meal at the long table, or organise a party. At the end of the day, we all know that making and discovering things together brings us closer together – and this is what makes our Stadtkäserei event location so unique.
